We can’t wait to have you join us at our summer shodeos! Entries may be submitted online by 5 p.m. the day before each shodeo. On-site entries are due with fees paid by 4:30 p.m. in the crow’s nest. A few notes about entries and fees:

  1. Entry fees are $5 per event except the Lead Line class, which is $10 for all 5 mini-events (barrels, poles, flags, goats, dummy roping).
  2. Annual membership fee of $30 per family must be paid to be eligible to earn points for year-end awards.
  3. Contestant’s age will be determined by how old they are on January 1 of the current year.
  4. Shodeos will start at 5:00 P.M. unless otherwise stated. Entries will close and fees must be paid at 4:30 P.M. Classes will not be held back for slow entries.
  5. Order of events will be posted at each shodeo. Each event, besides reining, will begin with the youngest age group.
  6. Waivers releasing the club from liability in case of accidents will be signed by parents or guardians of each contestant before each shodeo for non-members and before the first shodeo for members. Contestant’s name must be listed on the form to be eligible for year-end awards.

*6 & Under contestants may ride in either lead-in or speed events for points. They must designate before the season starts. Any contestant being led by an adult or having an adult walking beside the horse will participate only as an exhibition ride for no points or payback (entry free to be the same as other contestants in the class).

*7 - 9 contestants may only earn points in either Walk/Trot or Western Pleasure at each shodeo.
